Eco-Friendly Furnishing

Pressed wood, particleboard, and plywood are made with urea-formaldehyde resin. Urea-formaldehyde is the active ingredient in UFFI, the type of insulation that was ordered unsafe, banned, and removed in residences and schools in 1982. Laminated wood, chipboard, and aromatic softwoods are other toxic materials. These materials can cause nervous system damage in sleeping children. Green Home does not carry any furniture made with formaldehyde, laminated wood, chipboard, or aromatic softwoods.
